We have a 1 acre organic garden which is based on principals from permaculture, agro-ecology, and other traditional farming systems. Our biodiverse agriculture ecosystem provides food, animal habitat, education opportunities, medicine, firewood and much more to the benefit of both us and to the landscape. For the entire summer, the abundance from the garden largely covers all of our food needs. The garden also provides a direct-venue and easy opportunity for volunteers to engage, learn, and participate in the daily activities of the centre.
